I have always thought it would be great to have a “cutting garden.”
A garden just for the purpose of cutting flowers for bouquets, that way you wouldn’t have to cut the flowers in your yard, you could enjoy your flowers both in your yard and inside your home, or to give as gifts.
I have finally started my cutting garden.
I have planted 275 bulbs, various colors and types of Tulips, Daffodils, Iris, and Paperwhites. I have planted roses, Foxglove, Summerina Echinbeckia, several kinds of Coneflowers, Dahlias, Delphinium, Shasta Daisies, Coreopsis, Bearded Iris and Rudbeckia.
I still plan to plant many more dahlias and whatever else I can find, but for now, I’m happy with it.
The garden has turned out to be absolutely beautiful.
I can’t bear to cut any of the flowers.
