This last week I had the pleasure of hosting the Local Garden Club for a garden tour and luncheon. I thought that I would share our day together with you, as well as some pictures of the garden.
We enjoyed great food and great conversation around the table.
I am really enjoying the cutting garden this spring. The flowers are really blooming beautifully.
This bed is full of zucchini, acorn squash, watermelon, spaghetti squash, pumpkins, cauliflower and broccoli.
I am trying to grow artichokes for my first time this year. I can’t wait to eat artichokes fresh from the garden.
These are some of the ladies over looking the raspberry bed. In this bed, I have lettuces, french green beans, edamame, some more pumpkins and cucumbers.
In this bed, I have tomatoes-they are at the far end of the bed with the red “kozy coats” and celeophane on them- peppers, onions, shallots, butternut squash and some herbs.
I am thoroughly enjoying sharing my garden with these ladies.
The blackberry bed.
A view overlooking the garden.
Yum. I can’t wait to eat these strawberries.
If you are in the area and want to come for a cup of tea and a walk through the garden, let me know. It is one of my favorite things to do.
Blessings to you.
